Hey everyone Tarrant wrote this in his weekly report on last weeks game.
"It was pretty tough up forward last week, but that was easily my worst game I have played this year. Hawthorn got the numbers back and there wasn't much room, but we didn't help ourselves by NOT MOVING THE BALL ON QUICKLY" <------------ which is what I have been saying all year and is my signature. Maybe now they will get a move on when they mark the ball in the middle instead of holding onto it for half an hour.

| comon dont be so hard on the pies, look i know they havent played the best footy so far but give them a chance they will come good when it counts |

dead bloody right, we dont put any presure on the opposition backline. we're too slow and go around the pockets, thats when we're at our worst anyway. which we were on sunday.

True, we need to move it faster out of the backine because we give away too many goals by passing it around. Once we stop that, we can start putting soem scoreboard pressure on the other teams. WE better not do the "kick to kick" against Brisbane because that will really hurt us.

....potentially they will 'come good' by moving the ball quickly. Consequently, a valid point has been raised by this thread.
The good thing is, Tarrant and obviously the team know they aren't moving the ball quickly enough. Hopefully they are working on it. |
