My Theory

My theory (which I mentioned in the post match thread also) is that the teams involved in the Preliminary and Grand Final last year have hit the wall.

Now you can take it one step further and throw Melbourne in there also to explain their pathetic form as well.

Look at the last two games for Brisbane, Collingwood, Adelaide and Melbourne.

We all either lost - or only beat Melbourne.

Now Hawthorn can't believe their luck at winning two games in a row but who did they play?

That's right, Adelaide and Collingwood.

I don't know what happens now but I'm sure there is something in this when you look at how Brisbane have played the last two weeks.

What do you think?

Aren't you forgetting port. Hang on they got beaten by melbourne.
Damn it we should of lost the week before last and now we'd be sitting pretty.

Yes, I usually do try to forget Port Adelaide.

You are right, they are the exception.

But for them I'm hoping they actually make it to the finals then fall in a heap and go out in straight sets the chokers!

i'm not sure that is a theory as such, maybe more of an observation.

i think its just one of those coincidence things more than anything. But i'm sure the pies will rectify this form slump in the very very near future.

Adelaide went through a slump, so they could be considered part of the theory.
