im sick of all these moralistic collingwood supporters who think that they have the obligation to praise our players even when they play a bloody shocking game.... you are not any more devoted supporters than those who choose to criticise (me being one of those who crit.)

of course, we musn't attack our own boys, but constructive criticism isn't a crime and all of you who bag supporters who get angry when our side plays a game worthy of carlton should get a grip!! we feel just as strongly as you, and a team who is not accountable is not worthy of representing the glorious black and white stripes.....

Not necessarily because they lost but it has more to do with the manner in which they lost.

I agree 100% with a previous poster, the manner in which they lost was very disturbing, and they deserve to be in the hot seat. Having said that, i cant say that anyone has gone over the top this week in their criticisms of the team. In fact, nearly every poster has read this one spot on. Fact is, we were soft, inept and made to look second rate by a team we should beat easily. Intensity is non existent this year, and if it is because they are totally spent due to a over the top(self induced) pre season, we are gone.

I heard Bux say that it was easily our worst game for the year and he was ropeable, so any criticisms forthcoming from here would probably be agreed with by him. We cant be too precious with our club, i heard that some Melbourne supporters were upset because they were just accepting being demolished every week and playing like s, without saying we cant cop that. I would be worried if we became like that, it would show a lack of passion and emotion as a group. I think constructive criticism is very healthy, and more to the point, most observations on here about players and team are fairly accurate IMO. And dont get me wrong, i dont condone out and out stupid bagging, but when you dish up a preformance like that, and play how we have this year, with such high hopes and a 3-0 start, we all feel ed off.

sherrife, you cannot possibly be more right! i agree totally, I refuse to accept shit football, i still love the boys but when they play like the burnt PS1 games that i have, then they dont deserve to be praised.

bloody oath they deserve a roasting, i would like to see footage of mick going nuts just so i can be satisfyed that they DID get a roasting!

oh and as for our 'reserve stocks' pfft theyre just as bad, RICHARD "CLANGER" COLE stuffed it up again at the end, SERIOUSLY HOW MANY TIMES DOES THIS GUY HAVE TO BE CAUGHT BEFORE HE REALISES THAT HES REALLY NOT THAT FAST AND CANT OUT RUN EVERYONE!?!!?!?
