Pies yet to show hand
Collingwood has added three players to its squad for the Queen’s Birthday clash against Melbourne on
Monday at the MCG. Simon Prestigiacomo, Rupert Betheras and Heath Scotland have all been named in 25-man
squad, with no omissions made to last week’s side at this stage.

Match Preview: Magpies v Melbourne
Melbourne has not defeated Collingwood since round 14, 2000, when Jeff Farmer bagged nine goals – all
after half-time after being benched in the first-half. And judging on their recent form, the Dees most
recent win over the Pies will remain that match.

Just another game for Woewodin
Collingwood captain Nathan Buckley believes Shane Woewodin’s much-anticipated meeting with his former
club, Melbourne will not be an issue once the ball is bounced for the annual Queen’s Birthday holiday
clash at the MCG. “I think we’ve got a lot more to focus on than any bloke who is playing against his old
side,” Buckley said on Wednesday.
