i would rather us play shit now then come shit at the end of the season, i say win when it actually counts. Not like port win the early game then lose the games that count

Top 6 teams are interstate and the way its goin i dont see it changing that much i think the top 4 will stay as interstate teams and it be very hard to win finals from 5th to 8th.
The AFL dream may arrive in september an all Interstate Grand Final, I guess the best thing will be only 1 of the 6 caan win it.

My feelings over the past 3 weeks have been mixed but I think we can turn it around over the next few weeks.

As Robert Walls has said, we haven't been playing badly at all, just inconsistent when it counts (like on Friday night).

I think we should be looking at all matches week by week.

We should beat Melbourne and beat them well. I also think it may be a good opportunity to maybe start blooding someone like Cam Cloke in the ruck for us (from all reports her has been going well).

What are everyone else's thoughts?

Isn;t it strange,we lose vs port and yet we r still 9th(ok so it is only on percentage). We need a BIG WIN vs the Dees(i mean come on,the dees aren't that great team!!!!!!!!). I thought we would have slipped furthur.

Courageous Cloke - you took the words right outta my mouth. There are no easy games these days but the run we have over the next 8 weeks is as easy as it gets in this comp. Freo looms as the toughest on paper and its in Melbourne.

We are playing shit but we are still either winning or losing narrowly - never disgraced (apart from Anzac Day).

Brisbane have cleared out as we expected, but we are only two games off second spot. The season aint a write off - not by a long shot.

I have been saying for weeks that the next 8 weeks determines our season. We should win the next 8 to be 13-5. Then should win at least 2 of last 4 to finish 15-7 which should mean top 4.
We are playing good footy at times but throw in 20 minutes of crap where we get multiple goals kicked on us. If we can just hold when things are running against us, we can put wins on the board.

Courageous Cloke you've got my kind of attitude - positive. (I thought I'd posted it myself and forgot???)
I believe we can win every week. Consistency is what we need and we'll get there. We haven't played bad footy just a bit inconsistent and a few quarters we've fell away with it. Wondering if the four wizard cup games may have hindered us a bit this year? Not that we played 100% intensity footy but still I wonder. We'll do the dees by a thrashing - 70 plus points.

PS: Not sure about the bon jovi music, you might wanna give White Stripes new album a go for further inspiration, lol.

We need another performance like we had aginst the Saint, the second qtr was a little bad but when a teams is 8 goals to 0 in the 1st qtr you would expect that team trailing to come out firing we kicked 2-4 to 7-1 in that second qtr the difference was kicking at goal, although they were in the game the saints at half time i was pretty confident we were controling it.
