At the moment you couldnt ask for a better run, thats definatly not saying its an easy run, its just that the competitions so close that every team is a chance on any day these days.

ITS TIME TO STAND FIRM, in 1990 we did it, 9 in a row at one stage. And there's no saying we can't do it again. there's not 1 team on that list of the next 8 games that we cannot beat. I dont care what anyone says, we're a 1st class team that are playing 70%, if we can lift to our midseason form of 2002 and finals form, there's NOTHING stopping us, i've got a good feeling we'll hit form against melbourne next week, and continue on!

WHO'S WITH ME!? LETS GO PIES!! do it for the 40,000 members u have.

They'll have to play better then they did against The Power, although Collingwood always seems to lift against the demons. In the last decade they have anyways. I hope Woey comes out and plays a blinder and then he will be over the whole trade Very Happy

Yes these are very winnable games but mate i need to see a big game against melbourne if we are to be any chance this year, last game was crunch time, now its beyond that, its going to be desperate.

But I still believe we can do it.

Last few weeks have been enormously frustrating. Even now I'm begining to wonder where our next win will come from, mainly because of our inconsistent performances. I know they can play better, I've seen them! but which team will step out against Melb?
I really thought that we had one of our strongest team in last game (on paper anyway) and I still think so. It was strange Clokey, but I had a similar conversation with my son about his junior team. That if they string a few wins together confidence will lift and they will start to enjoy their footy more. As you have listed, we will never have a better opportunity.
If we can find it, momentum is powerful force

Strange things happen, Clokey.

I even know someone who tipped the Dees to beat the Lions. Lol

yeah confidence is the key - we really need to start stringing some wins together if we're serious about 2003. If we play like we did against port in the next few weeks, then we're still gonna struggle - but i know we've got it in us to turn it round and start getting some BIG wins on the board!!

We are 5 and 5 (hould have been 6 and 4 becasue of WC, but it aint, but I'll never get over that day...) Anyway, I've had a turn of positive thinking over the last hour, and I'd rather be 5 and 5 and win a big streak of games now than be 8 and 2 and lose most games leading into the finals (as per last year - even though we made the GF).

At 5 and 5, we're still very much in the mix, and I believe the boys will win 8 of the next 10 games. We will peak at the right time and finish top 6.

Dust this post off come finals time - mark my words, people.
