You attacked me for having MY favourite player in a willy jumper.
As I said it was irony. It's an unusual pic.
For you to say it is a lack of respect couldn't be further from the truth.
Back to the intention of this thread.Anyone know what injury he has?

He's got a Calf strain, no word on weather it's going to make him miss a game. But on the note of the Willi jumper, reminds me of playing in the old Newtown (Glenorchy) jumper which had Green, and not blue in it. Where am I going with this? No where I just wanted to add something this week Very Happy

Actually the picture is from a practice game between Williastown and Essendon played at Victoria Park last season.I think it was the week before the first game with the seniors not allowed to play an offical practice game a number of regular senior players Buckley included played as they has had interuppted pre seasons.

Great picture Cakewalk. For the benefit of the more literal-minded among us:

IRONY 1. A figure of speech or literary device in which the literal meaning is the opposite of that intended, especially, as in the Greek sense, when the locution understates the effect intended, used in ridicule or merely playfully. (Courtesy Macquarie Dictionary)

Oh, that's a bit harsh, Miss Magpie. I could've sworn Dave's post had a word or two about it.

From the CFC website > Nathan Buckley and Scott Burns, Collingwood’s casualties against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium on Friday night, will be fit to play against Melbourne at the MCG on Monday week.

Collingwood football manager Neil Balme confirmed this after the Magpies’ early-morning recovery session in Adelaide on Saturday. <

That's all I've been able to find.

Cakewalk, as your post was a query, maybe a question mark would have been appropriate after the 'Buckley Injured' heading.

lol you Ok cakewalk? after such a brutal attack on you for having your favourite player in a willy jumper, you'd think you'd be laid up somewhere.

fair dinkum guys, some of you need to get thicker skin, there's no need to call each other names ect. it only lowers the level of content on this great board and needlesly creates more agro. take a breath before you post/reply.

lol thought the pic in question was some edited photo c'os I couldn't think of when Bucks had to play in the magoos.
any one know when he's, if ever, gone back to the magoos?

I knew Bucks was injured just not the nature of the injury.

Last year during the Wizard cup Nathan suffered a corked thigh that kept him out for a fortnight.Nathan and Josh Fraser played in a Williamstown practice game a week before the start of the season to gain match fitness.
