| this is really annoying!!! the games in adelaide and is not live into melbourne??? bombard channel 9 all day tomorrow!!! |

Or better still we can adjust our watches and pretend its live that way.
I will end up listening on the radio  I thought the Government was making a stand in relation to free to air tv. They did a while ago when it came to cricket etc. If CH 9 cant show it live then at least let another station who would be prepared to broadcast it live do so.

The time on the AFL site says the game starts at 8:10 so wouldnt that be local time over there, therefore the game starts at 8:40 here?
Also in the Football Record last week it has a fixture at the back saying game times and it said 8:10 and that times were shown local. |

Well is it a 8.10 Adelaide start or not? Maybe when I get to work tomorrow I will call Football Park. Everywhere you look where it shows broadcast times its saying delayed.
If it is delayed, I'd rather them jump straight into the game live at 8.30, even if we have to miss the first quarter. It sure beats listening to the radio. |

I'd watch to see Tarrant dig a hole with Don Burke  Better then watching Don Burke carry on about some "deadly" weed  Bloody moron he is....Show the footy live, we demand it dammit!!
Don Burke won't care....no one watches that crap anyways, apart from my mum's old friend, but she was a mental anyways. Footy first, crap shows LAST!

Game is NOT LIVE in Melbourne unless they move the telecast to 8pm.
It was an 8.10pm start in SA but the council were not happy and moved it to 7.40pm SA time and therefore 8.10 EST. |

Now you Melbourne people know what the rest of the country has to put up with week in week out. It is usually 1-2 hour delay.
Channel 9 is shit. They have ONE live game per week and that is usually a crap Sunday arvo game. |

Well, I can imagine the first question asked of Eddie in the next Nick's interview !!
I always get a delayed telecast so I'm used to it. I go into the scoreboard chat and then watch the replays at my leisure during the week but after having read these posts I can understand why so many of you who live in Victoria, are so pissed off.
It's quite unbelievable that Ch. 9 would put on BBY when they could have Collingwood v. PA. !! Collingwood v. Anyone, actually.
