i think that we should have an away jumper if the biggest clubs with more history and more fanatical supporters in soccer can have an away strip to stop colour clashes then so should we

PS. i know i am going to get heaps of shit for saying that but i follow the soccer and the mighty pies

No COLOR change!!!!!! This is AFL just cause soccer or rugby do alot of things different doesnt mean we have to
Say we wear a yellor or red jumper do we turn up to the footy in Collingwood colors still or red or yellow i dont see the point of supporting and cheering a team in all red or yellow when we are in Black And White !!!!!!

What if the black and white stays, and a different design of jumper is made? With Black and White still being on the jumper.

Isaid the othe day id agree to change it if it clashes as long as it only had Black and White but having seen footage on Collingwood v Port Adelaide Maggies on Talking Footy on 7 i must admit i have to change my mind we looked horrible in it

to me newcastle united are black and white but they have an away strip
to me man united are red but they have an away strip
to me real madrid are white but they have a black away strip

so please come into the real world and look at this sensibly

PS. i am a passionate collingwood supporter and i would hate to see us in any other colours but if it is needed then so be it

As a Collingwood supporter, I for one would be bloody horrified at seeing them in any other colours but black & white. However I have nothing against a good looking alternative strip AS LONG AS they dont stuff around with different colours.

Why do people always bring soccer up when talking about football arguements. Football should NEVER try to be more like soccer. The reason i love football is its uniqueness, we have our own tradition and football culture. Collingwood should however maybe have an alternate design to avoid clashes as long as it keeps the colours and the verticle stripes!

Smile What about keeping the same colors but change the background Jersey appearence.

Home uniform stays the same i.e. black shorts and regualr at home jersey.

Away would be same black shorts and a new away jersey. All white with 1/4" black verticle pinstrips with bold black numerals.

All teams should have an away jersey showing the light color in there teams color scheme anyway!!!!!! Everybody would automatically know who was home team and who was visitor by the light color jersey. Yes the bombers would have a red jersey and a black sache.

When any of us not in Aust. watch the games on fox sports world its always hard to determine who is home and who is visitor.

Also just think how tough it is for the players who have to make a split decision where the ball is to be sent and all the jerseys look dark or similar. Betya that mistake is made a lot more than is admitted!

Hell, your getting the sh** knocked out of you out there and then you can't see who to send the ball to. Make the game easier for the players sake!!!!!!!!!!!

There needs to be a change!!!!!!!!
