I have a bit of time for Williams. Have talked to Ryan Lonie about him and he reckons that Williams is a gun. He is obviously very strong overhead and has great stamina. He does appear to be horrendously out of form at present - I would like to see him have a run in defence off the HB line to see what he can do for us down there. |

I'm pretty dumbstruck how this bloke is getting continually getting a game ahead of McGough, Scotland, Freeborn, Betheras on the back of a very poor performances starting with the Brisbane game.
Especially considering McGough and Scotland are busting their balls every week for Williamstown and once being selected in the seniors, getting limited opportunity.
Shouldn't our loyalties lie with those that helped us secure a GF spot last year? Shouldn't we play those that are performing in the VFL? McGough 45 touches last week.... not even on the emergencies list! It really does seem that MM favours certain players and that is what might see blokes like McGough and Scotland leave our club cos they aren't being given what I see as a 'fair go'. |

Andrew Williams is a good pick up, atleast, that is my opinion, he maybe in a little form slump, but is still a good pickup. And it's really to early to say that a trade was a good or bad idea once both players have finish their first season at each new club. Once the season is over, we can then see which was the better player overall. Although Adkins is still finding it tough to get into the Eagles lin-up. _________________ "The minute you start talking about what you're going to do if you lose, you have lost." |

It must be demoralizing for guys like Rupe and Scotland that they're repeatedly dropped after limited game-time while Williams has been given a free ride through his bad form. And that's the point. Nobody's questioning Williams's potential, but the simple truth is he's woefully out of form. |

Long term Williams will be a better pick up than Woewodin (still believe he is valuable aquistion)....and Doska_1984, you have no idea what you are on about, obviously cant think rationally, especially if you start ranting on about his looks _________________ Born Collingwood, Die Collingwood |

Well the stage is set for him this week. I'm sure MM's had a word to him so lets see how he performs under pressure.
Has all the attributes, just needs to get it right up top at the moment. |
