it was stated that a caller to triple m in adelaide said that there was 2 players - davis and didak_ that were disenchanted with the melbourne lifestyle and wanted 2 head home. now i know this is only a rumor and any dickhead can start 1 of those BUT i'd love some feedback on some areas 1. could it be true and why 2. state of there contracts (i believe didak has resigned for a few years- not sure on davis) 3. opinion on should u try to hang on to players who are homesick (we love it when they want to come home our way- ala rocca , obree , buckley _but not when they want 2 go - nick davis) 4. possible trade exchanges (leon davis in some kind of exchange for judd???- didak (port adelaide boy) for nick stevens???)
fire away guys (i spose opinions on the actual players will come into it as well!!)

Didn't didak renew his contract for another 3 years? So that rules out that one. And as for Davis. He's from Perth not Adelaide right?

That's right Assassin. I saw an interview with Leon at the start of the year. He said that his family wanted him to stay. I believe they've actually moved to Melbourne now as well.

Leons Dad and family actually sat behind me in aisle 8 at the Dome on Sat afternoon....Thay have moved here and were saying that Leon finally has his mind back on the footy after the roubles he has been through with his partner and baby....

Look for some big improvement in the coming weeks Razz Wink

The club re-located Leon's family when he first came, they moved back to Perth for a while and then returned. Didak wanted to go home midway through last year but the club has done so much for him financially and in other ways he decided to stay. He does miss Adelaide but has too many incentives to stay. The only way he would be traded would be if it was part of some deal to get a gun from for example Port Adelaide and all parties agreed. His form has been a little disappointing since the Wizard Cup.
