AFL Members re St Kilda game

Any AFL members that have not yet got a seat for the St Kilda game be warned..they have sold out the AFL Members section, and are only offering top level seating at the very back as at 12:30pm today for the standard $5.50 booking fee...or you can pay $25 plus for better seating....What an absolute joke.....

you have membership for the MCG games - oh, hang on, how many sell outs this year?

nah, you can "upgrade" to reserve seats at pies home games at the G for 5 bucks a game, something like that, too, so it basically adds an extra 50 bucks or so to your membership!

Well my mate just went and bought us tickets for the game.I know $5.25 isn.t much about the samw price as a bourbon and coke from the pub.It will just by a real bastard when we rock up and watch people just swiping their membership and going in.

The $5.50 booking fee goes to Ticketmaster not the AFL. I'm more than happy to pay it on the games where there's going to be a large crowd if it means I don't have to get there hours before the game, in which case you end up probably spending more than $5 on food, drink etc waiting for the game to start !! It's a good feeling knowing you've got a seat waiting for you and you wont be watching it in Siberia getting nosebleed.

I just got my tix for saturday's game on the internet, Row L of Level 3. To be fair it was section 11, right on the wing.
