Does anyone know how his injury is? And when he will be available for Williamstown? And do u think he'll make an apperace in the black and white before the end of 2003?
I think he is near the 150 game mark for the club? I'd say he'd retire after this season, but i'd like to see him go out with 150 games (and a premiership medalion )

How old is Richo? Because I didn't think he was that old yet, but I think he has some terrible luck with injuries though.
To answer your other question, apparently he played for Williamstown this weekend, although I could be incorrect on this one. I read it on the Training/VFL forum. _________________ Ðavâgé

Richo is 30.
From what I've heard he actually played pretty well for Willy yesterday, though I can't imagine he'd get back into the seniors so soon. _________________ "I'm sure people see me as a screaming redhead with a big pair of boobs, but I like to think I've got things to say." Richardson may be an ideal replacement for Presti but may be anohter week or more before his conditioning is up to it.
He is obviously a more versatile player, and quite a good ruckman - I think he might be a better tap ruck than McKee and would be interested to see him given a go in that posi also - maybe changing with McK/Josh. He was also one of the best CHB's in the league a couple of seasons ago (which everyone has obviously forgotten) until injuries set in.
The only question re replacing Presti, is is he as good a stopper as presti since until presti develops more that is all he is - a very good stopper. Once again that will be answered on the field but I think probably yes.
My main criticism of Richardson is he lacks a dynamic presence on the field, once again no issue if compared with presti. However the one position I have seen him show dynamism is in centre bounces watching him bore in like a freight train against larger opponents and punch it 20 yards. i'd like to see some of that. |

THey say sometimes the truth hurts, but obviously it makes certain people laugh also - something to do with having a very bad memory maybe? |

He has no chance of coming into the seniors unless we get another 3 more talls injured. Sorry he is past it and it's sentiment that has him still on the list. With his admission to Malthouse before last years GF that he was injured earned him great respect with Malthouse and he was kept on the list for that reason. He is great clubman and his wealth of knowledge will help the kids coming through. He can pass on his mistakes he made when he was younger, he could have been great, but never had the commitment at a young age due to his family’s history and influence in the club and had it pretty easy. He admitted this and 1999 & 2000 was his best years. |
