with 4 rounds till the mid season break what realistic win/loss(4 and 4 currently) ratio do you think we must aim for obviously to win all 4 would be great(and some will say lets take it one week at a time) but this is what i think.....
we havent played 4 qtrs of football yet bar maybe richmond to me this is a positive as we can improve
SAINTS... they have improved but we need to win this if we are finals contenders we should win this but saints will be keen as we have had the wood on them
POWER....They will be pumping themselves all week this could be in our favour as the media will be bringing up the semi final clash from last year and williams will use the we owe them one tag and can a good run continue at football park i hope so.
DEMONS... the dees could be off the pace or still in contention and they might also try and build themselves up as last year we thumped them i predict woewodin to be best on ground in a emotional game for him
HAWKS...Barlow will be licking his lips for this game as he always kicks goals against us please not. The hawks also might be back in contention by then or if form slump continues could be playing for new coach dermot brereton
So to be honest i think we should aim or get 3 wins fom the next 4 games
this will take our win/loss ratio to 7/5 i would be happy with this result at the weeks break mark what do you people think.... |

We should win ALL of our next four to six games.
Yes, top four is a possibility, lets hope this years H&A is the reverse of last year.
2002 - started well and petered out at the end
2003 - starting terribly but hopefully will come home like a train!!
fingers crossed. |

We should definatly aim to win all 4 and realistically, if we cant win at leat 3 it would be a real worry. _________________ Those with the most invested are the last to surrender!

If we want to be threat, we must win 6 of the next 7 (very possible) to be 10 and 5. I am marking in Port as a loss (but we know we can win there). We just need to put together 4 quarters of football (at least 3). |

We aren't mediocre Greg. Mediocre sides don't make it into Grand Finals. |

CQ, those sides had some very good players when they made GFs, many of which where in their prime. |

faith, pfft.
ive been barracking for the pies my entire life and go every week 2 c them n cheer 4 them but i dont need to lie to myself and talk about us being in the top 4.
i actually HAVE a grip on reality unlike most of the people on here.
it is 'POSSIBLE' for us to make the top 4 but seriously, look at who we're competing with brisbane, port, adelaide, west coast (and yes i realise we beat adelaide).
its not likely. |

We will win at least 3 of our next 4....
14 or 15 wins for the season is still realistic

Was it realistic for us to beat Port last year in the 1st final? Was it realistic for us to consider a GF appearance after round 22 given our form?
Being realistic in footy is why I finish last on the footy tipping. I've given up on what "should" happen because it doesn't work like that. I would be interested in hearing the views of those people who think we are not top 4 after round 1. We had had a good preseason, finished in 2 GF's and beat richmond easily.
Realistically we were not a sniff last year....reality showed we were. _________________ My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

well its reality that we lost to WCE by 16 after being in front by 16 with 10 mins to go.
its also reality that we're playing shithouse and have GONE TO THE PACK. |
