He is second for the club in terms of kicks, which is excellent, since most of the traffic goes thru the midfield. Who knows, if he was in the midfield he might get as many kicks as Bucks. |

he would certainly add a new element for the opposition to think about with his great leads and strong marking. |

i reckon it wuold be a good chance for him to increase is overall skill, sure hes a gun forward, but wonder how he would fare in the midfield with bucks, woey, burnsy, lica et al. should be interesting
if he was to go midfield, who do you reckon would go forward? surely need to be someone who can match tarrants lead skills and marking prowess. i wonder how woey would go up forward? |

hah maybe have woewodin and tarrant rotating between the forwardline and a wing. Maybe next year tom davidson can play up forward if he's fit and firing. |

I think Tarrant's a fantastic forward, but he has much, much improving to go before he coontemplates a move into the middle - he is terrible below his knees. When the ball's on the ground forget about it. Did you see him kick the ball on the full on the wing on Saturday in the 3rd quarter (it hit his shin). He could barely bend over. |

I can imagine the laugh the boys are getting from this...taz is not going to move into a followers position. Let's have a look at it: he plays in a midfield position anyway with his long leads. I reckon it's a jibe from him to the midfielders....saying that the midfield isn't that hard to play in.
Collingwood own the media and taz seems the sort of character to play them along with a story. I reckon he'd see that as pretty funny stuff. _________________ My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

Quote: | He could barely bend over | lol you'd be worried about bending over too if you was taz, he virtually gets molested every game and there'd be no "virtually" about it if he bent over to pick up a ball. _________________ Pain heals, Chicks dig scars, Glory..... lasts forever! |

Chris is quite capable of playing a midfield role. Infact, he played ruck rover in his Junior days, up until the shift to the Pioneers where they played him as a forward. I remember he played a run with role on Adam Simpson two or three years ago and really shut him down. However if Taz wants to play midfield he better learn how to dispose by both hand and feet, on his right side. Anyone notice how much he struggles when caught on his right side. When playing midfield you often get caught on your wrong side, especially if the opposition knows you have a weakness there. |
