Are the Legends and Captains cocktail parties held together? Because the Legends one is on the same night, 26th May, from 6 til 9.

I went to the 2001 Cocktail night and it was for Legends, Captains and Millenium Members so I'd assume it's for all these members. This year though it's members only, no friends allowed which is a bummer.

I haven't decided yet if i'm going, i'm a little timid to rock up by myself not knowing anyone else there (don't want to be standing in the corner by myself if you know what i mean)

If anyone else on this forum goes, can they post it here and maybe some of us can get together to meet?

I am definatly going does any one have any idea how dressy a night it is ? trying to pre plan the outfit for the night... who knows it might even require some shopping to be done before the night.

I'm a Legends member and yes it sucks how we cant take a friend. It's a 2 hour drive for me and I wont be able to drink either, that sucks too.

However I'll be there if anyone wants to hook up.

It is a bit dressy yes. I'd probably categorise as semi formal.
I'm now pretty sure that i'll go too. So if anyone wants to meet up? (do i sound really desperate now? lol).

HAL - yeah it was a good night. food and alcohol provided - beer, wine. Mick was there as was Bucks and selected players (Josh, Taz - can't remember who else) who all got up and spoke for a bit. They did an auction of memorabilia to raise money, had a tribute thing for Daics (he was Legend's person that year on the membership ticket). Didn't go last year though.

I would suggest a time and location to meet up but not knowing crown all that well I have no idea where a good meeting spot is. I'm so use to saying "I'll meet you a light tower 2"

Um, how about in the Palladium (i assume still there at Crown, don't have invite in front of me) around 6:30? in the foyer area before you walk into the Palladium room?

It's on for 6:00 but i'd assume some won't be able to get there at that time. I know i'll be pushing it for 6:00.

What does everyone else think?

PS: I won't be online until Tuesday as i'm going away for weekend tomorrow so i won't be able to respond until then.

I've been to the last 3 I think. Good night, all beer, wine, champagne, softdrink provided....buffet dinner......wonderful food......gawjus footballers... I mean...ummmmm great footballers.

I have to go straight from work, which is what i've done each year, so yes dressy, but you can wear dressy business attire, I try to wear Black and White funnily enough.

I'll definately be there and am looking forward to it.

I'm in for meeting up. I'll most likely be there around 6:30. To spot me I'll be wearing a green velvet jacket. Time and place, any other suggestions? Or is it still in foyer bit around 6:30?
