I go to alot of Collingwood games, and I'm getting sick of all these so called Magpie fans that bag him -

I still believe he is going to be a super ruckman as time goes on and a great forward player to - when we need him there. Just give the kid time!

and instead of bagging him - because he's not playing his best football - how bout supporting him - hence the name SUPPORTERS!

so lets support our team and lets support Josh aswell!
because they will get out of this slump and play well again

and i know you so called supporters will be on the bandwagon again Smile

so support collingwood or get lost!
GO JOSH - SHOW THEM WHY YOU WERE THE FIRST PICK!

I hear you. I've been defending Josh for ages on this board. Don't worry, he'll come through. His form hasn't been that bad but he'll be a superstar in a few years. He may not be one right now but he's in the first 22 for sure.

Josh is still a youngster and is definately starting to find some form.

How many players his size are there that can swivel, jump, run, kick evasively as he does???

we are lucky to be watching the makings of a (long term) superstar..

When Tarrant was bagged nearly every day this pre-season, I came to his defence big time stating that he will fire without last year's injuries.

It's time for me to defend big Josh. When he gets over his injury and gets much-needed minutes under his belt, he will kill it. Trust me. He is big and only 21!!!

With Tarrant I was 1 for 1.

Now I'm officially on Josh's defence team. Soon I will be 2 for 2. Guranteed!

i agree, josh is a quality player who is down on confidence and still learning. there are two things that i think he could really improve on and strangely enough they aren't to do with rucking:
1. don't go to ground so much
2. don't kick the ball so lofty like, and get under it too much

i'm sure these things will come with experience, and josh will be an even better ruckman and collingwood player in the future if he continues to improve in his footy. there have been glimpses of his quality; all he needs to do now is produce that form consistently. Like you say DaicosMagic, it took time for taz, and now he seems to be playing consistently, same happened for Rocca, lockyer, prestigiacomo and others.

yeah, sick of people bagging Josh - am sick of opposititon supporters saying to me that he's not much compared to other #1 draft pix. Sure hes had an ordinary start, but he's young and developing. I think Josh proved in the finals series last year what he can do and will respond. Anyone who has heard him speak will know he is an intelligent and articulate young man -he WILL come good and we should be there for him when he does.

We can all start supporting him now by giving him 3 cheers from behind our desks.

Come on everyone:

Hiphip...

Hiphip...

Now make this a big one-

HIPHIP...

People outside my office are wondering why I'm yelling "Hooray" very loudly.

When asked I told them that "CP and I are giving support". They had no idea what I meant. These dumb arse people have obviously never heard of this board....oh such idiots I work with.

Please MM, start him in the forward line, particularly with Adelaide's lack of talls down back this week. PLEASE Mick! I have faith in you Josh.
