H Scotland was one of our top midfielders in the second half oflast year. The past 2 weeks he has averaged close to 30 touches a week at Willi.

IMO is more committed at the ball than some guys who are getting picked ahead of him in the middle (ie Williams, Woewodin)

Is a great user of the ball, which certainly wouldn't hurt our side given how poor we have been of late.

Is a good decision maker, which is something that Williams lacks under pressure.

Is no slower than Woewodin and Williams.

Was dropped after round 1, but not given much ground time. Since he's once again shown charachter by performing at Williamstown. IMO this bloke is far more credentialled to play in the middle than the abovementioned duo. Time for a recall.

ummm i think the reason he isn't playing is because of an injury. Not 100% sure on this though.

if scotlands fit, which you'd assume he is, he must be in the team this week. his composure, and accuracy is sorely missed, even moreso with the absence of tarkyn who has similar attributes. i'd like to see bucks, burns and scotland rotating through the midfield with woewodin on the wing, williams up forward and on bench interchanging.

Agree with you Whitey about Williams. He is not a midfield player. Perhaps he should be played up forward where he can take a mark, like at West Coast.

I like to think that it is all part of MM's master plan. Giving a couple of fringe players early allows him to keep some players fresh so they will in their peak at the right end of the season.

Scotland was the big loser in the Woey deal so far.

I was surprised that Heath wasn't recalled for last weeks game against the Swannies but as another poster mentioned in a previous thread, the hard surface of Telstra Dome wouldn't have done his knee much good, which makes perfect sense!

He should be and hopefully is recalled this week. I am a huge fan of Scoots and I just hope that when he returns he is given MORE GROUND TIME as he is a quality player, with great poise and skill (on both sides) and is very capable of being a regular midfielder for the CFC.

I fear that if he does not get game time real soon then Laidly might just have his man next year, and that would be such a shame...Scotland is real quality.....

Cheers
