Post subject: AFL turning "soft"?Reply with quote

Note: Most this post is from opininons expressed by supporters that are from Tasmania. So if anyone takes any offense to this I apologize. Most of these are quotes from people I have heard this from.

Quote:
"AFL is turning into a fairies game, every time some pushing and shoving goes on there's a report and a fine, let them push and shove, show something other then high priced talent."

Quote:
"Why not just put every AFL player in a skirt? It's AFL there's surpose to be contact, it's not a (censored) Tea Party."

There's many other's which I really don't wish to type, because there is many swear words, and many arean't very pleasent to read (in my case hear)

Anyways, I want to know everyone's views on the subject, if anyone cought A Current Affair they ran the story and they had someone (that looked like Mark "Jacko" Jackson) and a mother. She wasn't very impressed by it all. Where Jacko thought it would be good to bring it back he also said something about the players being over paid (I think I heard that I couldn't be sure) So what I think is, they should ignore them wrestling around. And only report/fine players that actaully start punching because that is a reported offense. Because I think reporting the players and only fine them, it seems kinda stupid though.
