Can someone explain to me how the AFL work out the draw ? We play Port Adelaide at AAMI stadium yet again, Port have not played Collingwood in Melbourne since round 14 1999 so counting round 10 2003 Port have played us in Melbourne twice since 1997 what is going on

2001 port v pies
2002 port v pies
2003 port v pies
will the trend continue in 2004 have the game here get 50 - 70,000 than the poor crowds port seem to get at home ?

That's like how this year was the first time that the Pies played up at the Gabba, in what 4 season's or something. Makes it very hard for teams that haven't played on the ground in a few years.

yeh, i thought with the interstate teams that we played them here one year and there the next.

but then again what are our h&a stats against the WA sides? i dont recall playing there much in recent times, do u have them?

i'd prefer to go to SA than WA every year. besides, both SA clubs are collingwood's bitches, home or away.

I remember until last year that we'd hadn't played Fremantle in Perth for several years.

the pies played freo in 2001 and last year over here. before that the only other time we have played freo here was like in 1996?? at the WACA. we have only beaten freo once over here in 2001.

V West coast played 24 times 10 of those were in the west 6 out of last 9 in melbourne

V Brisbane bears/lions played 23 times 9 of those were in melbourne 5 out of the last 6 were in brisbane

V Port Adeliade played 7 times 2 of those in melbourne last 3 games were in adelaide

V Adelaide played 17 times 8 of those in Melbourne last 3 games were in Adelaide

V Sydney played 34 times since they relocated from south melb 17 of those were in Sydney last 3 were in Melbourne but the 3 before that were in Sydney

Some of the draws end up even but some are way out
