These kind of crap decisions do NOTHING to improve the relations between players and umpires and supporters and umpires.

The lines of division are just getting wider.

Mistakes do happen - which is obviously why Jackson and Co are all employed there, but maybe it is time that the AFL did a reality check.

Why don't they try telling the umpires to GET OUT OF THE WAY, as part of their own expectations as an umpire.

The game is faster than ever, these things are going to just happen more often.

It really is farcical isn't it. Incidentally we shouldn't just get upset at these determinations the tribunal is so inconsistent it is beyond belief. I was actually trying to think logically, in many situations after a bounce, the umpire is running backwards, (i.e. blind, so what's new?) yet he is never to blame? This just makes no sense at all. What's that, you weren't looking where you were going, well it couldn't be your fault, could it.

This is seriously crap. i mean does the tibunal take anything into consideration?? how wakes suposed to know the ump was there when he had the bloody ruckmand david hille standing in front of him, then when hille ran at the ball wakes was confrunted by an ump who just happened to be backing into a blody pack!! i mean are they really that dumb...seriously something needs to be done.
