Nicholas, what you may speak of in regards to "censorship" is often referred to by myself as "common sense". There will always be technicalities with regard to being consistent....but if people want to pick holes and play lawyer then the University of WA has a great lawyers degree. Here is not the place to nit pick for disagreements.

For those of us who were here for the ND debate it is quite apt to have those threads "censored". However this thread has done well to discuss the swans match specifically, as well as giving it to one of their players or not. So far, IMO "common sense" would tell me it hasn't degraded to the "i love ND v I hate ND" debate.

Good job mods, keep it up.

Now back to the thread.....i'd find it difficult not to give ND some mouth, but not solely at him...the whole swans team would hear it from me.

I'm not concerned about Nick Davis,i just want to see a BIG improvement on last weeks effort!!!!!!!!!!!.

Not looking forward to the commentators on channel 10 tho.

Let me. Put this very clear. I was not intending to start this thread as a Love/Hate thread regarding ND. I was mearly asking two questions.

1. On the views of US and how his reception will be back at OUR home turf

and
2. Who will play on him and what response ND will be given!!!

Your views are up to you as to what you think of Nick but I think with this week being his first game against us it should be a talking point.

All we heard last week was Laidley Vs Pagan, This week Carey Vs Roos.

Seriously, who cares? I'm sure there will be a lot of boo's but I won't be. How about putting your energy into a "GO PIES" instead of getting into someone who doesn't even factor anymore.
I'm more interested in the Pies getting a win on Saturday night given our past history with the Swans and the last two weeks perfomances.
You'd be assuming Nick would expect a negative response, but seriously, why bother. How about we all ignore him and give him the message - we don't care.

Remember Peter Moore ? - he still is not welcome by many at Victoria Park.

When a player lies to his club, president, team mates and coach then you can see why Mick Malthouse wants ONLY people of character at our club. As mentioned previously this selfish man screwed us by allowing the Swans to only trade a second round pick.
At least when Paul Williams (after ten years of good service) left, we received a quality player in James Clement.

HATE Evil or Very Mad

is strong word but in this case, it definately fits the bill here.

He is that soft I would not be surprised missed this game.

basically the boys should concentrate on the game and we should give it to Davis if he even gets near it. That way everyones a winner.

All this talk about Carey playing against his old club, has meant that Nick D. has got off lightly on the media front.

Who gives a toss about Carey and the Roos,
when the real question is,
will Nick D get the boo's.

Agree we should focus on the match and get the win. I would like us very much to keep him to minimal possessions and expect this to happen because mentally he's not the strongest. As for informing the club, I think a club should, but what people forget is whether he did or not would not have changed what we got for him. It's the system which was against us. The Swans screwed us when we have traded fairly with them in the past. We will remember that. We were lucky with Willo because he wanted to go north to help his bankruptcy problems.

Just thought this was intersting. Was watching channel 10 last night and an ad came up for the game on saaturday night. The interesting part of this was the key to the ad was this comment. "Sydney have money to burn, they stole Nick Davis and now it's time for the magpies to fight back"

Sounds like a bit of eddie influence to me. Are they getting at Salary Concessions??????????
