Just confirmed on Channel 10 tonight. I thought it would have been between McGough & Rupe. Good to see McGough get another go, hopefully not playing in defense this time Shocked Hope he can recapture some form from our last Anzac Day clash!

Good luck to him.

hmmm, interesting. I thought rupe wld have been selected before mcgough - i wonder where he'll be played. Maybe they cld try him as a crumbing forward - he wldn't even have to kick goals, just get hands to the ball and pass it off to s/one else in the fwd line.

I thought that there would be a good chance that Dane Swan would get his first game at the expense of Davis.

I'm sooooooooo happy. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Whilst there are only 22 in a team, and more than 22 on the playing list, some are going to be missing out, however;

If Mark McGough is not in our best 22, I will give up!!!

I think Steiner might of had Mesiti if my memory is ok.

Shame for Shaw though, he's been really pulling his weight these last few weeks. But it is good to see young McGough in the side, let's hope he can play like he did last year against the Bombers. I hope Brett Allen doesn't kill Collingwood with the Free Kick count against...

As much as I feel for Shaw, I think it's a great psychological ploy. If anyone is going to be up for this game, it's going to be McGough. He had such a brilliant game last ANZAC day that it's gotta give him confidence going into this game. Essendon are sure to pay him more attention and that will open it up a bit for our other midfielders.

This could be just what McGough needs to give him another kick along.

Do you really think Shaw has been pulling his weight lately?

Shaw had a good Wizza, but has been pretty quiet recently IMO.
