Will Collingwood ever Learn as much as i love them i am really starting to hate the way they go about doing business.I mean getting rid of Paul Williams for just about nothing, surely worth more then a couple of lousy draft picks and Mal michael just as the guy started to show some form and just about the peak of his carrer what do we do trade him and we keep some guys who only god knows what there good for every season we have all these players coming yet no one ever comes. Who would want to anyway i don't think anyone at the club is there because they enjoy or want to play for Collingwood there only with us for the money......

Luke, the verdict on the Willo deal will be a few years down the track. To get any value out of him, we had to shift him now. We will get zip for sav, cos' we waited too long. Malthouse is no moron. Have a little faith.

OH PEOPLE GET A GRIP AND MOVE ON FOR GODS SAKE.

RADICAL CHANGES HAVE TO BE MADE OK,THE CURRENT LIST OF PLAYERS
HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL FOR COLLINGWOOD.

ARE WE IN THIS COMPETITION TO FINISH AT THE BOTTOM EVERY YEAR ?

BECAUSE I GET THE FEELING A LOT OF PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD ARE HAPPY WITH THAT.

WILLO WAS NOT A CHAMPION, PROMISED TO BE BUT NEVER LIVED UP TO IT

AND I FIND IT REFRESHING THAT COLLINGWOOD HAVE AT LONG LAST HAD A GOOD LOOK AT THEMSELVES.

LETS MOVE ON PEOPLE BECAUSE MALTHOUSE IS NO FOOL,

I AGREE!!!

Maybe cause willo has been with the club for so long and has been a big part of collingwood that us supporters arent realizing why willo is actually off to sydney,he only had a good game when he wanted to and as i said in the other topic IT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!

BYE

SAV IS SEXY-->36 UNTIL FOREVER-->ROCCA BROS ROCK MY WORLD!!!

Compared with what happened with Scotty Russell T Francis and Monkey this must surely be a more profitable outcome.

Word Up to Joffa
i love ya mate but disagree with you here. Name me a player on our current list who has won a copeland trophy besides Buckley??
The answer is no one. Paul Williams is a match winner.
I can guarantee next year when he is kicking arse everyone will be eating their words.

With the draft picks they wont even get Gehrig......
It is only worth trading someone if you get something better. In this case we have been short changed....

I will be proven right.....
I will never ever say a bad thing about Paul Williams.....

peace out

Good trade, I reckon. Williams was good, but inconsistent. Number 8 and 39 in the draft is fair - next year they would have got far less.

Good luck, Willo. I'm sure the move will be great for your career too.

jonny boy
we will have to agree to disagree, but dont forget he was on big money and simply did not deliver.
now onto your belief that willo will make us eat our words, jon you know that the small running ground in sydney will suit willo
i hope he goes well in sydney.

Well said joffa.
willo will suit the small ground in sydney and i will look forward to watching him up here in sydney. but for collingwood it is a great move because he was overpaid for the small amount of work he put in. and JLC he was not a match winner - i never saw him win a match off his own back - kick the winning goal? never.
