Post subject: Heritage Guernseys
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quote: | On the AFL Website all the clubs have relased their heritage guernseys. Ours looks okay with an all white base and black around the arms, some small stripes on the front etc. Port Adelaide is an all black base with some thin white stripes 3/4 down the body. Actually looks pretty crap to me to be honest. I don't know why Port would be keen on wearing that besides this inferiority complex about trying to copy the Mighty Collingwood. It looks as though they ran the design competition in a kindergarden and started with black and let the kids draw some strips on it. Interesting to see how all the clubs turned out. Richmond's jumper actually looks like modern day Hawthorn. As for Hawthorn, their jumper is based on the 1925 version. One thing about fashion, even in 1925 Brown just not look good, no matter how you dress it up !!

All the pictures of the jumpers are on afl.com.au. Collingwoods is white with 2 black stripes and a black outline. Does anyone know why the eaglse and the crows don't have guernseys? Is it because the have no heritage? |

OMG... I didnt think the Carlscum logo could look any uglier than it currently does but the old one is pretty close.

I am going to get shot bringing this up but our heritage jumper would avoid those so called 'jumper clashes' for our away games, what do you think? _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

Im definately gonna go with the painted on jumper idea. Hehe. Mmmm mmmmm mmmmmmmmmm. Ill volunteer to wash them off after the game or re paint them on of they come off during the course of the game.
I never thought id say this due to my hatred of my hair going frizzy, but BRING ON THE RAIN _________________ Those with the most invested are the last to surrender!

Looks pretty good actually and has actual appropriate history.
And yes would definately look good as an away jumper as long as wear black shorts with them. |

Haha. I dont think thats a good idea. Could be scary. I think we'll leave the painted on jumpers to Tazza and the lads _________________ Those with the most invested are the last to surrender!
