The sax player (Robert) in my band, Strange Tenants, is known as 'Bobby Dazzler'.

My favourite writing of the week about Bobby Hill...

"More obviously superb was Bobby Hill, who for the second time this season tore the Cats a new one in the premiership quarter. Up and down this season as a small forward, Hill roamed further up the ground than I’ve seen him, to the point where I strongly believe McRae’s strategy was for him to suck his opponent as far away from the 50 as he could and then beat him for pace on the way back.

Hill had seven inside 50s for the night, five of them in the third term; a beautiful kick, he set up two goals before kicking another himself with a piece of crumbing so beautiful you could hang it in the Louvre."

Hats off to him in the biggest way

i didnt think recruiting was a great idea, didnt think much of him as a player and didnt like his reluctance to come to us the year before but he was great all year.

Thanks Bobby

all of the above, he was a genuine Bobby Dazzler today. Give him mark of the year as well as the Norm Smith.

Bobby is all skill and class but he has the determination and desire and guts to go with it. Maybe almost losing it all has given him that burning determination to win and succeed.

Deserved to finish with six straight.

My heart deserved it to.

Awesome performance on the biggest of stages and we simply lose without him.

In the blink of an eye he becomes a Collingwood Legend.

There’s a lot of Cyril about him. Needs very few touches to make an impact. Let him have 18 and he’s best on the ground

For a small forward his tackling is awesome.

I read today that he comes from Northam, a small community inland from Perth which is also where Leon Davis came from.
