so, which is it? |
I've edited my post and dropped one of the Crisp twins, to make way for Broomhead. |

^^^ Rats, I guess that means that I'm not allowed to have a centre-line of Swan, Swan and Swan. |

i'd have varcoe on the bench for the back rotations. crisp or broomhead/kennedy to start. one of broomhead or kennedy to be sub. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

i don't get how so many think sinclair is not a lock for round 1. i'll go he if he is not named for round 1, notwithstanding injury. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

a forward line consisting of cloke, gault, karnezis, fasolo and elliot is needed if we're any chance to kick a winning score.
completely aware it was only a practice match, but i just don't have a lot of optimism towards round 1 (and further). every year it seems other clubs bring in class and excitement (cockatoo, garlett etc) and we just bring it averageness after averageness. no spark at all in this side. |

I actually forgot about Oxley. I think he'll play round 1. Broomhead or Kennedy to miss. The other will be the sub. _________________ Go Pies |

He probably is a lock. As is Blair, but I posted the line up I want to see. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

Broom Head out for mine due to form.
Kennedy stiff to miss but he is too small and De Goey is one of our only good kicks. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

yeah, i think many posters are putting up teams they'd like to see rather than what is likely to occur.
as i've said previously, i think the team should be an online member vote. and, at the end of the season we get to vote players off the island. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Bloody hell JW, a few like Armstrong, Young and Blair will be voted off well before the end of the season! _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

the plan was to play a team in week 3 of the nab challenge as close as possible to that which we will field in rnd 1. greenwood injury may affect that to some degree with another midfielder maybe coming into the squad - but otherwise, despite the poor effort v the dogs, i would expect the rnd 1 side to very closely resemble what we put onto etihad last sat night. there is not much love for oxley or ramsay so far in the 22's i've seen posted - both have been more than serviceable in the pre season, both played last saturday, and at least 1 or possibly even both will play in rnd 1 |

did i miss something? Sinclair was a small forward with poor disposal, who i think became a 'defensive' forward [aka not kicking goals], who then showed a little bit at half back before being continually injured.
So, i don't think he has put together an amazing body of work in the back line that he should be considered a lock in at the moment. |
