Would require the 2 batting now to be in until well after tea.

In all my years watching Cricket, this is by far the most insipid team to wear the baggy green. They would struggle to beat the previous record holder of the worst Aussie team in 1985. Time to sack the lot and put in the Vic State team.

Any bets on how long they will last ? I'm tipping anywhere between 60 and 90 minutes to lose the last 6 wickets.

Says a bloke who knows nothing about cricket.

I humbly suggest you read the Sheffield Shield thread, Dave.

Learn something.

Callum Ferguson and Joe Burns come into the squad for Hobart.

Shaun Marsh is out with a broken finger.

Burns will open with Warner and Fergo looks to be in as cover for Voges.

Burns credentials are known.

Ferguson has, over the last three seasons, scored 1,879 runs with six tons at 53.69.

During the Matador One-Day Cup last month - he scored 305 runs at 61.

Close to the most inept performance I can remember.
We had them 4/32, and were 0/158 in reply, and still got flogged.

Are our bowling stocks still all injured or in the process of being so from last summer, and are our batsmen still out of form from 2015/2016 too?

Fair to say that the golden run of tons from Smith, Khawaja and Bradman Vogues has come to an abrupt end, starting in Sri Lanka.

Could be an all pace attack, with Lyon 12th. man.

Suggestions that Fergo could bat at #6 with Marsh at 7 or 8.
