Why were they booing Treloar?

Really? You haven't been paying attention to the manufactured pre ge campaign?

Nah, this is the first I heard of it.

I'll have to ring up KB on Monday and ask him what he thought of Treloar's game.

I'll put my hand up. I was at the game and got so angry when we fell 3 goals behind into time on that I had to leave and wait outside the gate for the rubbish to end. I heard a few roars and thought Rixhmond were running away with it. Saw Tigera fans leaving and swearing and thought "WTF is going on?" Tan back inside to se the last few seconds at the Richmond end and proceeded to dodge beer cups being hurled from the Togera faithful. Yes, I just missed the most epic comeback in Colonfwood's history. Oh, it doesn't change the fact that currently we flat out suck. But...OH MY GOD.

I'm sorry you missed it. Most of us have made that sort of misjudgement at some time or other.

Did you get into the rooms after the game to get the Future Captain's autograph? His third-quarter goal obviously won us the game. Wink

You better not listen to Buckleys press conference.

Pretty much said Langdon was moved forward because he wasn't doing his job as a defender. Razz

At least we're not 0 - 2.

A lot of mistakes, we were lucky...

Indeed. I've heard a lot of people quoting stats this week about what happens to teams who have 0 - 2 start to the season. I think I heard someone say that only one team in the past 25 years has played in the finals after an 0 - 2 start. Or something like that.

Happy with the win. I knew Faz had it in him. Very Happy

Not quite - the stat is that, of the 26 teams who started 0 and 2 in the last 5 years, only one has made the finals (Sydney 2014, after playing in the two previous Grand Finals). So, statistically, we seem to have dodged that particular bullet. Let's hope that's not the highlight of the season.

Thus proving that, as you've suspected for some time, Buckley can't coach. Is he the bloke who thought it'd be a good idea to play Langdon on Riewoldt one-out? Razz

Great to win and for those at the ground it would have been memorable but boy we have some structural issues most notably our zone defence and forward transition.

If we're honest we stole that one against an ordinary Richmond side.

Much work to be done and it can start at the selection table.

Out:Gault
In:White

Out:Macaffer
In:Howe

Out:Frost
In:Marsh

macaffer/howe - agree

frost/marsh - agree, since Reid is back

Gault - I would promote Cox and give him a go before we recycle back thru White.

Thought Oxley was pretty good, in place of Maynard

Incredible win and one which should give the team some self belief.

We still had too many passengers. Gault, MaCaffer and Aish gave us very little. I'm prepared to cut Aish some slack as he should improve, but Gault is not up to AFL standard and MaCaffer is just way too slow.

Before the game I was criticised for saying that Fasolo could become our Stringer type full forward. He is such a natural forward, who plays on instinct and demands the ball. And he's an accurate goal kicker.

Despite getting smashed in the hitouts as usual, Grundy showed tonight why he is needed in our team. He is a footballer.

Hopefully, we can begin to improve and gather some momentum. Go Pies!

This is the most exciting victory I've seen since the 2011 Preliminary Final! I'm still shaking.

Also beating Richmond just makes it all that much sweeter! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Sinclair played well tonight as did Ramsay. Williams is a turnover specialist - should not kick out.

Reid was excellent and makes a huge difference.

Thank god for fasolo and reid.

Faz, you are the POP KOC tonight, you're a gun.

People all around me leaving with 5 minutes to go and 17 points down. So glad I stuck it out.

That's how you get atmosphere at a game. None of that pre fabricated shite, turn on a game of footy and the crowd will engage. That atmosphere in the last 5 minutes was utterly sensational.

Just stoked at this amazing effort. Fas was incredible...given his experience last week, to come back with such courage and inspiration...such an astonishing effort. Can't express my admiration enough
Also, such a drive for victory...such a determination to win, even though it looked hopeless... can't express my admiration enough...Massive victory for the Pies... in the face of so many difficulties in the media... Well done Pies.

Well said - all of it, but especially the words about the courage of Fas !!!

I can't believe people would be so fickle to leave that early! They'll be regretting that now.

I've had a gutful of seeing ways to manufacture passion like the scarf waving which was cringeworthy beyond belief. The last five minutes were euphoric! I'm amazed I didn't collapse on the ground with utter disbelief and jubilation Very Happy
