The Philadelphia Eagles have won 3 NFL championships.
The last Championship we won was against Vince Lombardi's coached Packers in 1960.
The Championship trophy is named after Lombardi and the Eagles were the only team to hand him a playoff loss in his career as a coach....
Seriously.... What are the NY football Giants going to do this year? they are a joke... and I've learned that pulling for and rooting for means the same thing for you guys so i'll have to remember to say cheering... lol

Anyhow, it's great to see Sav doing well over there and I hope he achieves a regular place in the team. Never seen a gridiron game myself, so don't know much about it, but I'll be eager to catch Sav on youtube. |
Sav has already won the sole kicking job on the team... he's and Eagle and the season is about to start sunday... here we go

I hope Tony Romo isn't holding for the place kicker again...
Dallas hasn't won a playoff game in 11 years and now they have a coach with a losing record....
just read up on T.O.'s choice of QB's.... Manning and McNabb not ROMO....

Hiya...I'm not into NFL at all, but I spent some time in the States many years ago (in Rhode Island, Boston area) - and 'barracked' for the New England Patriots whilst I was there (I didnt have a choice due to my housemates!  ).
From memory, they were a pretty dud team when I was there, so I was especially pleased to see them win one (or two?) Superbowls recently.
Nice to have you on board and we all still love Sav and even though he played for some years with another team (Kangaroo's) - we still consider him a bit of a favourite son at Collingwood.
Sav's brother Anthony who is currenly playing for Collingwood is also planning on trying his luck over there when his playing days are over here.

A big welcome to the Philly's eagles fan............and such a coincidence, that My family went to live in NY city. a few years ago and chose to BARRACK..........for the Eagles, as our surname is the same as Donovan MacNab. ( good enough reason???)............and then Sav was chosen as their Kicker!! ( Now a really great reason)!!!
We wish him well and the Philly Eagles! for this coming season.
And please tell your commentators that you prounce his name ROC....CA!!
Our team the Collingwood Magpies are playing in our finals ( what you call the Play Offs) this weekend.
GO PIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is true but to be honest he was never really a physical player. Anthony is much more aggressive, more likely to crack a skull than Sav. Sav was just a big teddy bear who could take a strong mark and kick a booming drop punt.
