Moore Watch - 16 disposals, 2 marks, 1 hitout, 4 goals, 1 behind.
And 1 first round draft pick... Cool

Can you explain his game MB?

Played as a key forward the whole game, which makes for a change from recent history, where he has been thrown around at both ends during games. They did, however, give him a run on the ball at one point.

Only took the 1 contested mark, which lead to his first goal. Was a good one, too, where he was caught behind deep forward but almost reached around his man's head and plucked it.

Goals 2 and 3 were the real delights to watch, in the last couple of minutes of the third term. Goal 2 was a pluck out of mid-air, a burst around the oncoming man and kicked truly on the run.

Goal 3 was just brilliant. Moore tracked a loose ball back to the goal square, ran onto it, but was immediately taken forward in a tackle by his man. No free kick was paid, but Moore was smart enough to immediately roll onto his back and get his toe to the ball to kick it from a metre out.

Goal 4 was just a cheapie, a Joe the Goose over the back, but they all count... Wink

12 of his possessions were contested and he had 6 score involvements and 4 inside 50s as well...

Thank you kindly.

No worries! Very Happy

Great news but keep in mind the WA side is really weak this year.

Not going to be a draft with great depth of talent this year me thinks.

Was starting to hope that if we missed the 8 we'd be able to take Moore in the second round. Still possible if we fall far enough. Would be a great year to tank and essentially pick up two first round picks.

Top 10 pick for me, key position players of his potential very hard to find. Things I really like is he is clever, athletic, gets his own ball, doesn't fumble and is a nice kick.

He could be anything.

Lock it in Eddie.

Can we bring him in now? Ha ha I'm very excited, can't wait to watch him progress for us, 3 top 10 players potentially playing in our side next year. He's like a young clokey coming to the club

"I was born and bred as a forward from a young age so I've had to develop those defensive instincts and really knuckle down and focus on that," the 18-year-old said.

That has a Bit Hine Behind That.

Studying has also given him something else to focus on, besides the likelihood he will join the Magpies as their first pick at this year's draft. Moore has tried to not allow any of that distract him.

Quote:
"That external noise and stuff I can't control, really, as much as it’s got everything to do with me it’s got nothing to do with me," he said.

"I’m just putting myself in a bubble and trying to impress [Vic Metro coach] David Flood and [Oakleigh Chargers coach] Justin Wenke … and we'll see how that unfolds as the championships end. Obviously having my old man, he's been through all that and given me perspective on it.

"A lot of people are asking and a lot of people want to know but I've got the blinkers on."

Great Attitude. Play Good Footy and the Rest will take care of Itself
