Unfortunately, those ideas were brought inside of football. Like any job, you just need to know how to live your problem at the door when you come into work and not make your problem everyone elses.

Turns 30 in November. And just isnt the same player he was at Collingwood.

Looking back, trading him (and missing on the train wreck that is Mitch Clark) and getting Travis Varcoe has been a fkn great move.

Collingwood made the right call. (And also won the trade).

He wont be seen in black and white stripes again.
my memory is short, but if we got Varcoe for him, then yes it's a brilliant trade.
For me Harry is a bit Daisy, since the locks went, so did their talent! Weird!

THIS. His only real fault was he thought he could help change the world, good ideas, but they took over from his footy. You cant change the world, no matter how hard you try, as my Dad used to say. Surprised

Poor Harry's mental health issues have become too much of a burden for him to carry.

I like to remember him on his knees with his fists in the air after kicking a goal in the 2010 Grand final. Thanks for the memories.

THIS, yes, I remember that moment as if it was yesterday, glorious, I nearly burst into tears when he sank to his knees, it was magic, we had the flag won then, well and truly. A real Leo Barry u star moment, that one. Very Happy

We have never replaced Harry and Heaters run out of the back line but it would never work out bringing him back now. Harry left because his relationships with the coach and the president soured. The coach and the president are still there so it just won't happen. Will never forget that goal in the GF tho. One of my favourite Collingwood moments ever.

I will take him back as our Official Spiritual Guru and Leader and will have Trevor Hendy's old office.

No thanks
He's past his best.
We have plenty of half backs of similar height who would be ahead of him in the queue for a game if he did come back...
Ramsay, Scharenburg, Langdon, Marsh, Maynard, Howe, Oxley
Then there's all that unwanted baggage he'd bring with him...

Seriously, there may well be the way of the future, for just such an appointment in this new age of Football. Harry could teach our young kids the art of transcendental meditation, relaxing the mind before big games, clearing away bad vibes, a positive attitude. This could be the way to go, as football clubs develop and bring in innovation and new techniques. Harry would do well in such a mentoring position perhaps. Cool Cool

The game has passed him by and he hasn't been the same player since he left so 're-drafting him would be a silly move. We did well to let him go.
