We've barely warmed up.

Ed has drawn fire from Caro like he fully expected he would.

The fun really starts if we drop another game this week.

Supporting Collingwood is like going out with a really hot girl who is mentally unstable. The sex is great - but she will often try and stab you with a knife.

If we're all honest with ourselves, this is why we barrack for Collingwood.

It's a hell of a toboggan ride.

Actually mate, barracking for our Pies right now, is as exciting as going to a party, and dancing the night away with ones mother in law Razz

The very real possibility of not having a club to support.

At least when we were bankrupt (1986) we finished 6th. Won 12 of our last 18 games. That is very far from where we are now.

We also won the flag in the U19's and had a very bright future. Onfield I'm not sure where are our list sits moving forward.

Just don't share with the tolls (there ya go Dingo Pup, 3rd) because they wouldn't have a clue what to do other than criticise and would probably just get stabbed.

Bob with all due respect can you please be more specific in regards to what part of the club is in crisis ?
The way I see it we are in a injury crisis for sure.
Used 36 players already after 7 rds. It's not the number so much as the personal out. Varcoe, Swan, Adams, Witts, Scharenberg, Williams, Langdon, Goldsack, Cloke, Ramsay. At least 7 maybe 8 of them would have been considered in our best 22 at the start of the season.
.

Jamie Elliot says a big hello.

apparently Elliot's "injury" is not really an injury.......think Buddy missing 6 weeks.

If Goldsack is considered anywhere near our best 22, we are a bottom 4 side with him in it.

Oh, OK I thought we were talking about our performance on the field, not financial position.

7 out of last years B&F top 10 are out or injured. I'm surprised that we haven't been pumped by more.

What rubbish.
The Club was never going to fold.
They didn't even get out the tin cans.
They stopped in the cupboard.
Just because you are on the edge doesn't mean you are going over.
Norf was a basket case for decades but it is still here.
Another myth is Ed single handedly stopped us also going down the tube.
History is written by the victors and Ed was certainly victorious.

You are not in crisis because you don't post much.
That is a very sound approach.

Correct.

Eddie likes to spin. It's his brand.

The CFC would have never ceased to exist.

The AFL know that having their biggest brand not in the competition means less revenue. And by less, at least 10 to 20 percent.

There is a reason why the AFL gave Essendon a wet lettuce fine with the drugs case because killing that brand off would have seen the AFL revenue drop off massively.

The CFC was the biggest brand in the AFL before Eddie took over. It will remain the biggest brand when Eddie is gone.

Eddie likes to say that he saved Collingwood. The minions lap that shit up.

The fact is Eddie increased his profile and made his fortune on the back of being associated with the biggest brand in the AFL.
