What number was he at the Dees? Was it 22?
Will 22 be available?
I think so.

he is overrated but i spose it would be alright to have him 4 pick 16, hes not worth 500K a year though.

also whoever said about swapping adkins for williams, thats a good deal, i approve!

at the moment it looks like the draft pick will be enough, though they may throw in a player if melbourne want more.

at the mo it looks like we are giving the orders as its not our problem if melb go over the salary cap, which they will if they keep him.

give the brodie or kinnear or rhyce. whatever scraps they want to make it happen. We still need a ruckman though.

Hard at it. The Collingwood way.

over-rated maybe but the Chas Brownlow says he has the ability to do great things for the club. Would he play off the half back line or in the centre? If in the centre where does that leave O'Bree? Assuming O'Bree recaptures his 2001 form next year when he is injury free.

Woewodin gives us flexiblity and the ability to be unpredictable. I would play Woewodin in the middle and allow him to run forward to kick goals as he is a lovely kick.

Hypothetically if we did have Woewodin next year i would play Obree, Woewodin and Licuria in the centre. Then rotate them with Buckley Burns and McGough etc. I would use Buckley and Burns off the half back line to set up most of our play. This would also help preserve Buckleys body so he hopefully can play for a few more years yet. Burns is such a great reader of the play and a terrific mark overhead and will be great acoss half back.

I would put Bucks in the Centre as long as his body can take it, then put him on the half forward flank for another couple of years ala Daran Jarman and let him win a Brownloe with fifty goals to his name.

Woewodin on the wing is a great option I reckon, give him some space to run and a bit of flexibilty. MCG on the other wing would be my centre atm.

Licca on the ball gives us a hard hitting option, and Burns off half back is a good choice, great mark. Cloke on the other HBF. Probably OBree as rover, but where do you put Lockyer, Betheras, Johnson, didak, Scotland (if he's still with us)? One HFF and one BP is all you've got left when you throw the talls and Leon Davis into the mix!

Still, it's nice to have depth and trade options!

I would play Didak and Betheras on the half forward line. Betheras is a great impact player. Didak may also spend more time in midfield perhaps ?? Although he is so damaging in front of goals and will only get better next year.

Lockyer and Lonie and Ben Johnson can still provide great run off the half back line. Then you can throw Richard Cole in the mix as next year i think he will be playing senior football on a consistent basis. We will have an awesome running midfield. Another key defender would be nice to help support Presti Wakelin and Cloke.

In hindsight i think Nick Davis will look back and regret leaving (thats is he does go). He has the chance to remain and be part of the most exciting team in the AFL.

However with or without Nick Davis this team is definately going somewhere. Actually we almost got to the destination last year....lol The question is whether Nick Davis will be along for the ride.

My team:

Fraser Tarrant Leon Davis

Didak Rocca Molloy

Woewodin Buckley Mcgough

Lonie Presti Burns

Cloke Wakelin Lockyer

McKee Licuria OBree

Betheras Scotland Johnson Cole

Obviously the forward line is rotated with cole and Betheras moving in and out as height and match ups require, although I would love to see a fit Molloy running rampant up the ground from the HFF, Leaving Rocca one and one at CHF and Fraser and Tarrant leading from the goalsquare.

Leon Davis needs to stay down, and Didak and Cole cand rotate with Fraser to lead from the goalsquare as Fraser moves into the Ruck.

Options options options, MM must be licking his lips!!

lol you've gotta make cutbacks somewhere...

NOOOOOOOOOO! See it's such a star studded line-up that you forget members of the Australian touring team!

Fraser Tarrant Leon Davis

Didak Rocca Molloy

Woewodin Buckley Mcgough

Lonie Presti Clement

Cloke Wakelin Lockyer

McKee Licuria Burns

OBree Betheras Scotland Johnson Cole Kinnear Adkins...

wow, I reiterate my view that we should trade a few midfielders, and Holland as well, for either draft picks or a ruckman. We have got to have the deepest midfield in the AFL, we'd kick arse in the hybrid International rules game!

we need to trade guys like holland, kinnear etc while they are still worth something. another season for them like 2002 and they'll simply be delisted.
how close are we to the cap if we take on woewodin's contract and keep nicole davis?

Yep, Kinnear is worth a new pair of footy boots, or a ticket in lotto, but not much more.
