Didn't I say at the start of the year that this was going to be the year of the flagpies? I did. And here we are, no coincidence.
It is a crying shame that we cannot blow Richmond back to their rightful spot on the ladder (9th) but hopefully we will smack them hard enough to make them regret their temerity and arrogance. The top eight is reserved for real football clubs, Ninethmond! Back into the basement with you! |

I foresee one possible change for structural reasons.
In: Reid
Out: Aish
Can we win? Yes, we have a 50-50 chance and we’ll need to be at our best.
To win, we need to jump ‘em by at least 3 to 4 goals from the start and maintain it for the rest of the game. They dominate in bursts, we can’t control that. We’ll need to convert turnovers into goals if we are to win and use the ball cleanly and efficiently.
If we get jumped in the first quarter this Friday night, I think the Pies are done. I hope I’m wrong. |
