Ralphy HS saying Pies/Dogs not in agreement over how much cash we are going to splash out for AT they want $300K we say no way. Suggests the AFL trade is unofficial.
So what happens if they don’t agree to terms?
Probably won’t happen because we will cave to demands rather than take him back. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Assuming the AFL rules don't change this, Treloar would be paid by the Dogs in the amount of his contract with them, then if we don't pay the balance, he would sue us for it. I assume they will mediate it and resolve it along those lines, as why would the Dogs budge? |

'Was told Pies were to pay as little as $50,000 per-season of Treloar's contract - which seemed to explain loss of picks they gained for Stephenson. Hope they at least got this right or the buck should stop somewhere...'
'Collingwood must tell members how much they are paying Treloar to play for a rival club so they can form an informed view of the competency of the administration. Otherwise, don't shame us into buying memberships or paying a premium for reserved seats.' |

Why do you need to be shamed to stay a member? If you don’t like what’s going on don’t renew, if you think not much will change( we’re no worse off) than renew.
The only thing Collingwood MUST do is win a flag. That’s what they owe members/supporters.
Who really gives a crap about an explanation of why they made a mistake. I’ll tell you why, coz no one’s perfect & people make mistakes. Fix it & get on with winning our next flag. |

The only ones at fault here are the Bulldogs. If we never committed to anything other than what was perceived in the media then we do not owe the dogs a single cent for his salary. |

Surely the Dogs need to prove we have agreed to contribute $300K towards his salary each year.
Unless a Collingwood rep has to co-sign the contract, then we have had no say or control of any misinformation the Bulldogs decide to put into it.
PS> I thought we were only offering $100K according to the media. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

They are always cookin' somethin' aren't they?!
It would be nice of the AwFuL to perhaps pass a change in the salary cap where perhaps one player of 10 years service to a club, could maybe be moved to rookie-list for his final season, and have that wage removed from the cap each season?
Rewards loyalty to a club, and the player involved.
But AwFuL have to terminate his contract and career once nominated, and the season concludes. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

^^^ My understanding of the list size changes were that they included the ability to move up to 2 players from the primary list to the rookie list and have $80k of that/those player salary excluded from the TPP.
Every club has the ability to do the same. |

I thought North's DFA Mason Wood offers appeal as a utility type to fill the Macaffer / Goldsack / Sharenberg role.
While he wasn't the most reliable kick on goal, as an athlete he is a good mover and could give a side another option at either end of the ground and as a depth player. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

It would free up some cap space.. |
If Carlton can rort the system and get away with it, so should we |
