100% agree. He needs to start reciprocating the faith and patience that the club has placed upon him sooner rather than later.
I would be very disappointed if we deteriorated or stagnated next year. Even if we just narrowly miss out on playing finals but show evident improvement, then I'd be inclined to keep him for 2018, but on the proviso he must play finals in 2018 or else he's gone.
We really need to be playing finals by 2018 one way or another, because if we miss out next year that will be four years and counting out of the finals, which it makes our third longest finals drought behind only 1995-2001 (7 seasons) and 1940-1944 (5 seasons).
If we play finals next year, then things will look very promising. I think the club has been very generous to Bucks and provided him with the best chance to succeed.

I'm a Buckley fan but those stats tell me nothing. If you look at the trend, it would tell you a completely different story.
