He can say what he likes about doing things for us fans. The fact is he will do exactly what the Networks want when they are paying the dollars for TV rights. This doing stuff for the fans is too little too late. When the AFL starts returning games to suburban home grounds then I will believe it. _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |

Just saw he is an ex-Carlton player. Now I'm worried because he will be a conniving, filthy cheat with no principles. |

where did you see that? My mother said the same thing, but all I've seen was he played Amateur Football for University Blues.
ahhh from Wiki
Quote: | He played Australian football in the Hills Football League colts competition for the now defunct Pleasant Valley club. After moving to Melbourne, he played with Melbourne University Blues in the Victorian Amateur Football Association.[1] Besides playing as a ruckman for the club, he was captain, best-and-fairest, committeeman and made a life member.[1] He was on the Carlton Football Club supplementary list from 1996 to 1997 |
so being on the supplementary list for 1 year doesn't make him an ex-Carlton player. He might even be pissed off with them that it never went anywhere _________________ Jacqui © Proud Pies 2003 and beyond |

Some would argue that it does have some bearing but the proof will be in the pudding I guess. I mean Dimi played for North but that didn't help North move to Brisbane when all intelligence and logic at the time said that they should have |

Did pre-season and was told he wasn't good enough.
It seems he's more interested in Sturt, and has a soft spot for the Saints, but he's a Sturt supporter. He seemed very reluctant to even talk about any AFL side he supported, so we'll just have to see what he does. _________________ Ðavâgé
