Pretty sure we signed him for 2 years.
The eagles only offered 1.
Bad luck for Lynch but on the bright side Martin deserves to be upgraded so an opportunity might arise here. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

No need for smart ass comments mate, the dude just broke his bloody leg playing for our club FFS. |

Fairly rich coming from someone who boldly predicted we'd be 0-7 and forced to sack our newly contracted coach after one round. |
Beethoven had his critics too.
I don't handle defeats very well I'm afraid. |
But Beethoven had a few fans as well, do you?
No one likes losing and round 1 was bad but we've all watched enough footy to know how quick it can turn around. Sometimes a bit of restraint is required.
Bad luck for Q though. I thought he'd only copped a knock watching on TV until I saw how devastated he was sitting on the sidelines. No one likes to see someones career possibly finish that way. |

Big men are always hard to replace. Handy backup.
Hopefully not too long out.
Upgrade Kyle Martin to seniors.
How bad was the injury to Marley? |

will be a big loss to the development of our younger players not to mention the back up ruck duties. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle.

Definately agree, he filled a spot we needed him too, unfortunately injury spoilt it, but he gave desperately needed support at times, and I'll thank him for that. Damn shame to see him go out that way.
I'm guessing that's it at his age, if so, might I say, Thanks for the memories. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Absolutely correct. Had we not secured White, Lynchy would still be playing seniors for us. But them's the breaks, no pun intended.
But it was only a two-year deal, which might come to a premature end...

Terrible luck for the Q. It's always more than handy to have experienced players playing at either senior or VFL level, especially players like Lynch and Hudson who are prepared to put their body on the line.
He may not have had the most glittering Collingwood career to date, but there can be no doubt that he always put in. Was well worth picking up, and we'd have been far worse off without him in 2012. _________________ Well done boys! |

Lynch was unlikely to get a game while we have fit players. But he was good depth for us. Especially if we wanted to rest some big blokes against weaker teams late in the season.
This isn't good for our list management or the big fella. It weakens our underbelly.
We also needed him for structures in the VFL. It significantly weakens this side where we are trying to make finals to support our AFL finals campaign.
I'm also offended by DTM 's attitude. It's not good for the club or for Lynch. Try that for "truth".
Get well soon Lynchy. |
