We don't need any tall defenders vs Adelaide, Keefe will take Tippet and Maxwell can take the resting ruck.

NO, how about the young beanpole Witts, our future Sandilands. ?

Sure you aren't confusing Witts with Wood? Witts is the heaviest player on our list already.

Nothing personal towards Shae but would rather see Blair and Ugle running around in defence Human Centipede style than play him at this point in time. Still a long long way from it, and very unlikely to make it imo.

Shocked I may never be able to look at those 2 blokes the same way again.

Shae is having a decent year so far and I am certain he would give it one hell of a crack if he gets a shot at AFL level.

He is a very big lad and patience is required as they take longer to develope. But he is still showing improvement and further potential.

Where does this come from - did you watch him play last week. He is not going to make it -fact!!!!!

I'd prefer Josh Hunt's 85 year old grandmother! Shocked

Think Williams is a chance for Swan or perhaps Young.

Tazz is the obvious one for Reid if they think he is right to go.

why do we need a tall for? the crows only have 1 tall forward (tippett) the rest are small/medium forwards.

keeffe will do his part for us and take tippett.

Shae has the athletic attributes ,height and mobility that is required for this
game,(remember he is 204cm).
What he lacks is the raw physicality that young Australians learn playing in their early teens as the growth spurts kick in.One season playing against
gangly skinny kids the next season hairy thugs.Learning how to cope playing
against physical mismatches is a part of a players education,so is intimidation of sorts, hard but fair was the mantra we were always told.
I would sit Shae down and play him highlights of darren milane and ned kelly
two guys who had genuine presence.e.g Millane looked like he was going to pop the ball he grabbed it so hard when he took a mark. and ned would make
his opposite player black and blue by the end of the game, looking over there shoulder making sure they knew where ned was.
The Lesson being mobile 6foot 8 100kg guys should be a weapon not just another player. If he can learn to be a physical presence he would have a future in the game.Perhaps we should get jake king to mentor him, as silly as it sounds a lot of talented smaller players take time to toughen up ,but once they do , they are quite complete footballers.

Jeez man, against the Crows @AMII? I'm all for giving him a run in the 1sts at some stage, but thats a shocking call.

Perhaps against the Suns or Giants. I really do wanna see him get a run though, just got a feeling about him.........
