I would like to know why the boys relaxed in the final quarter.
A % boost would have been excellent.....PIES could have at least been 2nd on the ladder instead of Brisi.
The 50 odd points that we were infront at the last change, well the boys should have made it 100 points instead.
Any ways watch out Cats next week!!!!!! skin em alive we will

i doubt they relaxed. i think we are forgetting the crows are a top 4 side, playing at home with a 3 goal breeze at their back. 4 points is 4 points the crows dont have.

I certainly don't think relaxed is the right word. The Crows were always going to come back in the last quarter with the wind and fresh legs through the centre and the odd home town decision. No I would have to say i'm pretty happy with the win overall.

CQ and BWPhantom and Magpira,I agree with what you all said.
But Junkboy we only withstood the comeback because we were up by
66 points! Adelaide had an 8 goal last quarter!
We didn't do a lot to prevent it.
The players were so disappointed with their last quarter that they didn't even feel like singing the song.
We would have all loved a big last quarter, but they will learn more from this than if they had thrashed them by 20 goals.

Just look at it as a positve. We got the four points and there won't be any complacency next week. As Mick said they will keep the rage for next week.

Dgen you are right about concentartion and effort.....that why we have beaten all but one of last years prelim finalists, burring two of them, that is why we have 8 third quaters this year and still won when we lost the other two, come from behind to win games that we played poorly in .....We are good enough and have the concentration when it counts. It is no big deal that we dont bury teams....Actually being that we have a terrible history of falling away because of tiredness and fatigue, I dont have a problem taking the foot of the gas and resting key running players when we have a all but won a game. Going on and buring teams is overrated....
