^ I'm guessing you can get $250 on that right now...
I'll now check...
Hmm.... I was wrong.
Only a Scrooge-like $81.
Mitchell is even worse value: $29. How is his team even going to make it there?
Oh... Jamie is $201. Surely they can offer $1001 at this stage? I don't think even Jamie's beautiful dog would take those odds.
Cox, $301, may be worth a flutter, do you think??
JdG is $101. |

Can you win this award two weeks in a row?
He did execute one terrible turnover in the wet but fatigue is a constant symptom of leather poisoning. |

LOL.
Remember the old saying, "sometimes it's better to say nothing and have people 'think' you have NFI, then to say something and 'confirm' it".
Up there with Callum Brown will take Adams' spot in a year or 2.......crqzy stuff. _________________ Go Pies |

Just some numbers on Adams in the last month -
He ranks 22 in the competition for average EFFECTIVE disposals.
He is seventh in the competition for winning the most contested football
He will make mistakes during a game but when you’re getting the pill thirty times a game as an inside mid, it’s simply going to happen.
My suggestion to the knockers is to try and look for some of his good work, rather than hover our him waiting for a blue and then back slapping yourself that you’re still right about him |

He is a big game player who will thrive in the finals. Could be the Norm Smith medalist this year, if Grundy doesn't snag it. |

Watch the Copeland votes for the first 8 weeks and then compare it to the thread then. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Tip: when you make a monumental fnarkleup, the worst thing you can do is make up excuses. But that's OK. We all enjoy a good laugh. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

I think Inky is a frequently astute poster, but "Brown > Adams" was not one of his finest moments.
One thing I like about Taylor is he seems to lift his game when we cop an injury. He really raised his game last year after Pendles got injured late in the year and he's done the same thing this year after Treloar went down. _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

Just so DSU. I agree on all counts. Very rare to see Inky screw the pooch. But hey - it can happen to the best of us. (Me, I'm still waiting for the Brad Dick's Brownlow Medal. Any day now. Trust me on this.)
Some players go up a gear, even two gears, when the game gets tough and the result matters. The technical term for these sorts of players is "champion". If Adams can lift for big finals the way he lifts to cover injuries to his mates, that won't be too big a word to use. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Would be a lot of people to embarrassed to revisit this forum from 3 or 4 months ago in regards to Adams.
The crazy thing about it all is that he had an amazing 2017, he was entitled a lot more leniency than he was extended by a lot around here. _________________ Brown re his GF omission:
