Beams was out anyway - good decision to get everything 'fixed' before pre-season 2020. Will return physically and mentally 'ready to go'. |

Would have had a limited input had he returned before the end of the season. Better sense as the club has finally decided, to operate on the shoulder now and get him ready for next season. |

Usually I wait for the official report, but feeling a bit rushed now.
So.... Unofficially;
(And I mean unofficially)
Quote: | Will Kelly - Hamstring (TEST)
Darcy Moore - Hamstring (TEST-1 Week)
Jordan De Goey - Hamstring (Test-1 Week)
Brayden Sier - Calf (1-2 Weeks)
James Aish - Shoulder (2-3 weeks)
Daniel Wells - Knee (3 weeks)
Isaac Quaynor - Foot (3 Weeks)
Ben Reid - Calf and Hamstring (5 Weeks)
Dayne Beams - Hip/Shoulder (Season) Was a minor chance to be back in week one of finals. But that is now gone.
Mason Cox - Eye (Season)
Lynden Dunn - Knee (Season)
Tom Langdon - Knee (Season) |

Can we get into the next home game with VFL pricing instead of AFL? ;p |

Feeling rushed by all the injuries?
Gleeson claims Wells will play VFL this week. |

The injury list is just funny now. Not for the poor blighters that have to go through the surgery, pain and rehab, but on some ethereal cosmic sense there’s nothing more left to do than laugh and see what next year brings. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

That may have been the thing to do eight years ago but not now. |

So Collingwood withdraws its big, one-eyed Cox, but somehow the team is f@&ked.
How does that work? |

What The Age, the HS, the AFL website and the Collingwood FB/Instagram pages all report is all over the place.
For example, the AFL website says Moore is 1 week whereas the HS is saying 2-3 weeks.
Throughout the year I've been merging all the information and mentioning any of the contradictions.
Makes it tough, especially when some of these reporters are probably guessing. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Realistically, we're cooked. Can't win a flag like this.
Play some guys for next year. Tyler Brown. Give Wills a big go at it in the middle. See if he'll make it. Give Callum Brown a bigger mids role and preserve guys like Steele and Pendles.
Not sure what we do with our tall forwards and 2nd ruck. We have no talks left. Lynch??? |

This is like one of those bad dreams where everything keeps going wrong and getting worse no matter what you try to do. Then you wake up relieved it was only a dream - still waiting for that, someone pinch me.
Oh well perspective - there are millions in the world with much worse problems so gonna try to jsut enjoy the footy and the challenge, and not expect to win and have good luck all the time. Support the players and the club through thick and thin but this is pretty threadbare thin. |
