spot on Crimson
Micky Christian has a background that might fit the bill as a premiership player, stockbroker and looks to be a good thinker. But is he the best man for the job or is his name been put forward because he's been mates with Eddy since clubbing together in the 80s 90s? _________________ woodsmen rule |

So Pert is looking to jump ship.
I thought the captain went down with it? |

No way he is the best candidate going around. Next _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

hasnt been involved with an AFL club on a FT basis since his playing days... No.
I like the idea of Pert as Head of Football, if we land a gun CEO. If not, how about Roosy, Gary Ayres, or dare I say it... Bomber? |

I hear James Hird would like to get back into a footy club.
Sometimes it takes a fall to make one a better person & administrator.

IF Christian can explain the machinations and complexities of the USA college electoral system, in laymans terms, then as far I'm concerned, he has the job, its all his, as he would be a bloody genius, and is just what we need. ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

I like your thinking and I strongly agree with your premise that ability + humility is a powerful combination. If Hird has taken the lessons from his humiliation he might be an excellent recruit - but you'd have to test whether Hird's character was at fault or just his experience and judgement, the first time around. Many of the best people and best managers I know are those who have digested their mistakes and learnt from them. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |
