primary list players

Can anyone tell me how many of the primary listed palyers are getting a VFL game regularly?? Yes, they are listed as interchange but are they ever used. To it seems the VFL is filled mainly by AFL players who are either not making the grade at AFL or recovering. Who can blame the primary players for losing interest and returning to their local clubs where at least they get a game each week. This is my opinion but does anyone else see it the same way??
