when the draw first came out we were earmarked for 2-3 vfl curtain raisers at the mcg. they were subsequently relocated.

why then did coburg and geelong play a curtain raiser to the main game today?

Very good question Jock! My goodness, what a godforsaken place that Casey fields is. Obviously just the perfect home for the "Demons". And people complained about going out to Waverley?!

Bring back the curtain raisers at all games I say! Wasn't it great as kids to get to see two full games of footy on a Saturday at Victoria Park?
