Much soul-searching at Liverpool after last week's embarrassment of squandering a 3-0 lead against the Saints. At least Smicer and Owen can hold their heads high.

Unfortunately we have to wait till Wednesday to redeem ourselves at home to Villa.

Cheer up Alf old son, did you see the King of Anfield come on against the frogs in the last 20mins and level the scores with a brilliant goal? Great stuff and just think how good Owen will be, afterall he's only 20yrs old. A scary thought for opposition players and supporters alike.

Joffa : The only way Oldcastle will ever get any silverware is if they get relegated to div 1, where they belong lol

Also I'm happy Shearer has retired from International football, and now England can have quality strikers like Owen, Heskey and Fowler representing the greatest footballing nation in the world.
