Yesterday very good solid partnership from finch and nabi the run chase always looked under control even at 3/63 or something I always thought we had the chase under control. Very good bowling effort too from renengades even though the heat got away in those last 3 overs should have only chased 130ish but a nice win to finish off the bbl I guess for the renegades fair crowd to nice and supportive. I was there had a nice feel about it and didn't have to que up for anything nice and easy.

Stars play sydney sixers in the qualifier at the mcg Friday 31 jan 710pm start.
Winner goes through to the grand final and be played at the mcg if stars win or scg if sixers win. I hope stars win it.

There are also some quirks on display, some appealing, others less so. Seven's Damien Fleming has a nifty turn of phrase. Foxtel's taciturn Mark Waugh sometimes seems vaguely irritated by the need to speak. During one discussion about whether it was better for a team to bat or bowl first, he tersely offered, "If you play well, you win".

Seven's James Brayshaw bouncily calls everyone, players and commentators alike, by nicknames ("The Big Stoin"), as though emphasising that he's a man on the inside."
