It seems that our hovercrafts are no longer full of eels.

Terry should be ashamed of himself. He was supposed to be immortal.

2 down, 4 to go.

Terry Jones ought to have been sold with a health warning on the label - the first time I watched him sing "Jahr Tee Buckety" as Wise King Otto, I laughed so hard for so long that I had to be hospitalised with acute asthma and a collapsed lung. Great times!

Sad news indeed. Besides his work in front of the screen, he'll always have a special place in my heart for having directed (alongside Terry Gilliam on the former) two of my all-time favourite films, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Life of Brian.

Very sad news. Dementia is a prick of a thing & from what I’d heard / briefly read he had a pretty severe form of it.

Part of my adolescence growing up with Monty Python. Some of the comedy has aged some remains standing the test of time.

Sad

Vale Terry.

And yes Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Life of Brian are top-10 for me too, as is The Meaning of Life, which had me rolling on the floor front row of the Forum cinema, back in 1983, as a 13 y/o.

Yeah, read this this morning.

I remember watching what I assume were re-runs of Monty Python's flying circus on my grandparents TV back in the 70's, loved all their stuff.

Life of Brian is a classic
