Tomorrow morning from about 9:45am former Chief Commissioner Christine Nixon will be questioned under oath.

Should be interesting to see her responses (unless they move it to a closed session).

To paraphrase:
Quote:

Diaries? What diaries? I didn't keep any diaries.
Oh, you mean the diaries where I recorded my, and Christine Nixon's, knowledge of Gobbo.
Shit, totally forgot about those.

'The diaries were found in the police archive facility after a tip from Mr Overland's former chief of staff.

Mr Overland apologised in his "supplementary statement" for not remembering the diaries existed, claiming he was "convinced they didn't exist".'

It has resumed. (Live stream at https://www.rcmpi.vic.gov.au/ )

There's a delay in Gobbo appearing...

Is the stream on 15-minute delay too?

Winneke stands and talks.

They adjourn for 10 minutes (15 minutes ago).

They resume.

Gobbo chooses to take the oath. She's on the phone line.

They talk about her 7-page statement.

Medical condition.

The first break will be 11.30.

CW: "Do you accept that ...?" "Do you accept that ...?"
"Do you accept that ...?" "Do you accept that ...?"

NG: "I accept the proposition, but that's not the way it always works."

"Do you accept that ...?" "Yes."
"Do you accept that ...?" "Yes."
"Do you accept that ...?" "Yes."

"Do you accept that ...?" "Yes, but it doesn't always happen."

Someone wants Human Resources to be front and square for the Police: Did Stui write this? Wink

She's apolitical, she started under Kennet and was re-conracted under both Labor and Liberal regimes.
